SALON/SPA POLICIES:

As an FYI:  Karma Day Spa & Salon is comprised of Independent Contractors.  Every Practitioner is a
Self-Employed service provider who leases a station within the establishment and are NOT employees.  

APPOINTMENTS & SCHEDULING: 
Please arrive on time for all services.  Reservations can be made by phone at 503.359.4555. 
All of our services require a valid credit card, gift certificate number or deposit at the time of booking
to  
reserve your requested appointment time.

 

BUSINESS HOURS:
Our General "Business Days" Working Hours are Monday-Friday 10-6, Saturday 10-2.

Since we are all Independent Self-Employed Contractors, we work different days and hours within these "general working hours".  If you need to get a hold of us, please call the salon at 503.359.4555 and leave
a detailed voicemail with your wants/needs and contact information.  We TRY to get to them throughout
the day between clients (as we do not have a receptionist).  If you are calling after hours, your call will
not be answered until the following business day (keep that in mind for any cancellation/rescheduling requests, as it may not fall into our 3 business days policy).


If you have your practitioners personal cell phone #, please be respectful of our "off hours".  If you text or call after hours, it is likely that we will not respond until our next scheduled business day. 
As you, we have a life outside of work and would greatly appreciate the courtesy of having our family/personal time respected.


CANCELLATIONS AND MISSED APPOINTMENTS:

We understand that sometimes there are unavoidable circumstances that may conflict with your scheduled appointment time and therefore cause you to cancel.  As a courtesy, we ask that any cancellations and rescheduling be given 3 BUSINESS DAYS notice of your already scheduled appointment.

Any cancellation made after the 3 BUSINESS DAYS required cancellation period will be subject to a
50% charge of your service fee. Missed appointments with no courtesy call are subject to a charge in the
full amount of the service.  
Not allowing for proper notification of changes or cancellation of your reservation time does not allow us sufficient time to replace the appointment.

APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS:

A deposit of 50% is required to reserve appointments.  No date is reserved until a deposit is received
via Square Invoice or Venmo.  This deposit will be held and used toward services on the day of your appointment. In the event of a cancellation of your reserved appointment time, a
3 BUSINESS DAYS
notice is required to receive a full deposit refund.  There shall be NO refund of deposit if appropriate
notice is not given.

 

CHILDREN & QUIET ENJOYMENT:

We all need a break!  And this space is designed to deliver just that.  Please keep voices and cellphones at a minimum.  Due to all the chemicals and tools in a salon environment, we ask that unless children are receiving services, you kindly leave them at home.  Thank You!

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES: 
Are valid for a specified dollar amount and good for six (6) months from the date of purchase. 
They are not redeemable for cash.  Karma Day Spa & Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.  Prices are subject to change without notice.

 

GRATUITIES: 
We’re often asked about gratuities.  Quality service is customarily acknowledged by a gratuity
(customarily 10-20%) that may be added at the time of checkout. 
Note that gratuities are not added to services, spa packages or parties. 
 


RETURN POLICY:

Returns for Services:  Karma Day Spa & Salon does not issue refunds on salon or spa services. 
Should you have any questions or concerns or are not satisfied with the work performed, please contact your service provider directly within
7 DAYS so they may address these concerns in a timely fashion.   
They will make every effort to remedy the situation.
